MILLENARY OLIVE OIL OF THE SÉNIA TERRITORY AT WOOE (WORLD OLIVE OIL EXHIBITION) in Madrid (26 and 27 February 2024)

WOOE (World Olive Oil Exhibition) is the first fair in the world dedicated exclusively to the world of olive oil. Forty-seven countries took part, more than 300 companies were represented and more than 5,000 visitors attended.

Following the invitation by the organizers, Olivos Milenarios Territorio Sénia participated through the Mancomunity Taula del Sénia and the Association of the Sénia Territory in a very special way, presenting 14 olive oils that are certified by the Millenary Farga Guarantee Mark as oils exclusively produced from Farga olives harvested from olive trees registered in the Sénia Territory Millenary Olive Tree Inventory (which means that a tree has to exceed 350 cm in trunk perimeter at a height of 130 cm measured from the ground) and being all of them of Premium quality.

- Leyenda de Olivo de ELISABET RAMON

- El Pobill Farga Milenaria of POBILL ECOLÒGICS

- Millenium de ALMAZARA V. DELLÀ E HIJOS

- Llum del Mediterrani of TERRES DE LLUM.

 

In addition, Mª Teresa Adell (manager of the Mancomunity) gave two talks accompanied by slides, one each day, on the millenary olive trees.
 

There have also been 2 exhibitions on ancient olive trees "A look in 3D" and another on virtual reality, on the most outstanding specimens of the territory.

 

Lastly, upon the request of the organizers, 3 different videos on ancient olive trees were presented and, together with others, continually projected in The Olive Tree Corner, located next to the stand and the exhibitions.
