The Natural History Museum of the València Universit-M(UV)HN-  is a new installation of the University of Valencia that it originates with the idea of ​​bringing together in a single space the most relevant elements of its 32 scientific collections with hundreds of thousands of specimens and offer this huge cultural and scientific heritage to the Valencian society. In addition, the Museum becomes a space for research and training for the university community and the general public.

Chera Geological Park

A park to enjoy outdoors

The Geological Park of Chera covers most of the municipality of this locality located within the Region of Valencia. It is an outdoor park, which contains the exemplary representation of the geological structure of a Tectonic Trench, which is an elongated morphological depression, limited by large fractures that break the land into blocks, some of which have sunk.

The museum has a collection of Natural Sciences that is divided into two, one devoted to "The Ecosystems of the Region" and another devoted to the "Regional Geology". The latter presents, following a stratigraphic treatment and a chronological order, fossils, rocks, minerals and formations of the different eras present in the region.
